No. Depression is a real condition involving the body and brain, not a measure of your faith or your thankfulness. Some of Scripture’s most faithful people — Elijah, David, Job — sank into deep darkness. God didn’t scold them for it; He drew near. We’ll do the same.
Not necessarily. Many people improve through counseling alone; for some, medication is a helpful support — that’s a conversation for you and a physician. We’re glad to work alongside your prescriber if you have one.
Many people feel some lift within the first several weeks as the basics start to steady. Deeper change takes longer because we’re addressing what’s underneath, not just managing symptoms. Your counselor will give you a realistic picture early on.

Yes. Every counselor is trained in our Neuroscience Informed Christian Counseling® model and shares a common statement of faith — so you’re getting clinically excellent care built on what you believe.
