I’m deeply honored to sit with you in both your pain and your growth, and to watch you reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been buried under stress, trauma, or self-doubt. Therapy is such a human process, and being invited into your inner world—at your own pace—is something I would never take lightly.
Over time, I became aware of how often God meets us not in having everything figured out, but in our brokenness, questions, and longing for healing. I felt drawn to be present in those spaces—to listen well, to offer compassion, and to reflect God’s grace in a tangible, human way. In the therapy room, I hope to create a space where you can encounter truth, restoration, and hope—at a pace that honors your story and your faith. I trust that God continues to guide this work, using it not to provide all the answers, but to walk alongside you as we discover healing, meaning, and wholeness.
Growth isn’t about fixing ourselves, but about understanding ourselves more fully and making room for all parts of our experience. I know firsthand how vulnerable this work can be, and that lived experience allows me to meet you with deeper empathy, patience, and respect for your own unfolding process. It keeps me humble and human in the therapy room.
When I am not in counseling, you will find me at church serving as a praise team singer and a leader. If you don’t find me there either, you will catch me crelaxing or hiking with my two adorable dogs.
Starting therapy isn’t a sign that something is wrong with you; it’s a sign that something in you wants care, understanding, or change. So show up exactly as you are. You don’t need to have the right words, a clear story, or a specific goal when you walk in. We can figure that out together, at your own pace, so just come as you are!

MyCounselor has as its aim to be the gold standard in faith-based mental health. Our counselors are required to have undergraduate studies in theology, practical ministry, or psychology and have completed a graduate (master’s) degree in mental health (professional counseling, clinical social work, marriage & family therapy, etc.).
After submitting an application package that includes transcripts, references, and video responses to a structured interview, qualified candidates are invited into a multi-stage interview process. During the process candidates will meet with clinical supervisors, perform a mock therapy session, and participate in a training with the MyCounselor clinical team. If advanced from the final interview with the Director of Clinical Services, candidates are offered a position on the clinical team and matriculated into the MyCounselor residency.
During residency counselors complete multiple rotations of clinical training and experience with specific populations, including individuals, couples, families, and teens. Specifically, residents are trained in the MyCounselor proprietary model of care: Neuroscience Informed Christian Counseling® (NICC) as applied in practice with various presenting issues.
The thorough training our counselors receive in a broad array of specialized rotations equips them to address counseling concerns ranging from the common to the complex.
