We’re looking for growth-minded counselors who love Jesus and love doing excellent therapy. At MyCounselor® Online, you’ll practice Neuroscience Informed Christian Counseling® (NICC), a model that blends the best of clinical science with the transforming power of Scripture. You’ll join a fully remote, Christ-centered team where you can grow through rich mentorship, a steady salary, and a culture that pursues excellence with humility.
If that sounds like you, we’d love to help you grow into the counselor God created you to be.
We value deep, evidence-based therapy grounded in neuroscience, attachment, and trauma-informed care. Our counselors are trained to think critically, practice skillfully, and pursue mastery.
We believe the Holy Spirit is the ultimate healer. Scripture guides our understanding of people, pain, and transformation—and every session is a sacred space where Jesus meets the hurting.

At MyCounselor® Online, these two worlds don’t compete—they complete each other. Through Neuroscience Informed Christian Counseling® (NICC), you’ll learn to bring both science and Spirit into every session.
As a Christian counselor at MyCounselor®, you get to do what you love: provide faith-based therapy and help people! Unlike running a private practice, you don’t have to worry about things like marketing or administration. With full-scale marketing and administrative teams, we keep your caseload full and handle the logistical side of things, so you can focus on what you love.
Most graduate programs do a good job teaching theory, but they don’t show you how to practice it with people in pain. New counselors often feel alone after graduation, unsure if they’re really helping.
That’s the gap our NICC® Residency was built to close. Over two years, you’ll be guided, supported, and refined through real sessions, supervision, and mentorship inside a proven model. You’ll grow in confidence, skill, and presence, and you’ll do it in a community that’s pursuing excellence together.
This is how we form counselors who are both clinically sharp and spiritually grounded.
Weekly one-on-one supervision from experienced NICC clinicians who help you grow with focus and clarity.
Training with individuals, couples, families, teens, and groups—each rotation designed for depth and variety.
You’ll review and reflect on your own sessions with supportive feedback that builds real competence.
Small-group consultation and regular check-ins that keep you connected and supported.
Your supervision and coursework are part of your salaried week—not something you do on your own time.
Structured learning that blends neuroscience, attachment, and biblical wisdom into daily practice.
Once you hit submit, you’ll be redirected to a page where you can download the MCO Careers Brochure—your in-depth guide to joining our team.
Inside, you’ll find details about our compensation structure, residency, benefits, and what it’s really like to build your counseling career with MyCounselor® Online.

No. Because our services are religion-based counseling, they are not regulated by state or federal licensure requirements under the First Amendment’s free exercise clause.
That said, MyCounselor® values the education and experience standards set by state licensure boards. Our internal NICC certification process is built to meet or exceed those standards, and we encourage and support our counselors in pursuing state licensure where they reside.
