If you are in a season where things seem especially difficult and you are yearning for support, change, and growth, I would love to meet with you. You are not alone. I truly value the courage and strength it takes for you to begin this journey towards healing and thriving.
When you meet with me, you can expect to be met with warmth, compassion, understanding, and honesty. My wish is for you to feel safe as we work together to bring light and hope to even the darkest places within your life. I consider it a privilege to be able to hold a space for your pain and frustrations as you navigate your thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment. You can expect to be asked what your personal goals are for our time together. You can expect to be seen and heard.
Specifically, my areas of focus are individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, or relational issues, those navigating the often-turbulent times of young adulthood, couples hoping to address premarital concerns, and couples wanting to heal and improve their marriage and cultivate a healthy relationship marked by grace, understanding, and a fulfilling connection.
My goal is that after investing time in the counseling process with me, you feel inspired and empowered; that you’ll have found help cultivating courage, confidence, and change, finding lost hope and healing, and that you will have grown in your relationship and understanding of yourself, The Lord, and others.
When I am not counseling, you can find me exploring somewhere new with my family, walking trails with my black lab, baking with my kids, crafting, and painting. I love decorating and making spaces beautiful. I enjoy watching college football and Duke basketball with my husband, as well as eating spicy foods, fishing with my grandad, and reading novels.
I am passionate about what I do because as Psalm 34 says, “I have tasted and seen that the LORD is good,” and I have been changed by the transformative power of His redeeming love. And that is my hope for you. So, let’s get started.

MyCounselor has as its aim to be the gold standard in faith-based mental health. Our counselors are required to have undergraduate studies in theology, practical ministry, or psychology and have completed a graduate (master’s) degree in mental health (professional counseling, clinical social work, marriage & family therapy, etc.).
After submitting an application package that includes transcripts, references, and video responses to a structured interview, qualified candidates are invited into a multi-stage interview process. During the process candidates will meet with clinical supervisors, perform a mock therapy session, and participate in a training with the MyCounselor clinical team. If advanced from the final interview with the Director of Clinical Services, candidates are offered a position on the clinical team and matriculated into the MyCounselor residency.
During residency counselors complete multiple rotations of clinical training and experience with specific populations, including individuals, couples, families, and teens. Specifically, residents are trained in the MyCounselor proprietary model of care: Neuroscience Informed Christian Counseling® (NICC) as applied in practice with various presenting issues.
The thorough training our counselors receive in a broad array of specialized rotations equips them to address counseling concerns ranging from the common to the complex.
