Position Basics

Reports to: Josh / CEO

Starting Pay: $25/hr

Hours: Flexible, 1-20 hrs/wk

Location: 100% Remote with some travel

MCO IT Support Coordinator

Remote Work

MCO is a very tech intensive company. While our services are very people oriented are operations are very technology geared. That means our employees need to be tech savvy and have reliable internet service. We also do a lot of video conferencing internally as well as with clients and partners. A professional looking back drop and private office setting is important for remote work.

Position Summary

The IT Support Coordinator (ITSC) will provide technical assistance to employees of the company. They will be responsible for setting up new employees with softwares and provide training using these softwares. In addition, they will be responsible for ordering IT equipment and coordinating setup. ITSC will Manage internet service hook-ups, account maintenance, service delivery, and up-time. ITSC will coordinate with local independent contractors to resolve issues requiring hands-on support, when needs supersede local employees’ ability to be coached through resolving the issues, and as a last resort traveling to locations to resolve issues. ITSC will make recommendations to the CEO for the cost-effective and efficient addressing of evolving technology needs. The ITSC will manage/administrate cloud SaaS accounts and manage security and compliance issues involving technology.

MCO IT Support Coordinator



The ITSC will provide technical assistance to all employees of My Counselor

Online. Since we are a tech intensive company, the ITSC will need to be in communication with all employees and available to troubleshoot technology problems that arise. They will also be responsible for training employees on softwares used by the company.

Equipment/New Technology

The ITSC is responsible for setting ordering and setting up IT equipment and coordinating the setup. It will be their responsibility to work with independent contractors to resolve issues beyond their control.

Make Recommendations

The ITSC will make technology-based recommendations to CEO that are cost effective and that will provide for efficiency for the company.
