Years ago, when I was still on active duty, the Lord bestowed a great blessing on my life by calling me to help people from all walks of life with their spiritual and mental health healing journeys. Life can be tough and it can feel lonely at times. Sometimes our pain is so deep and hidden, we can feel as if no other person would possibly understand what we are going through. These may feel like uncertain times, but through Jesus’s unwavering love, grace, and guidance, we can navigate your lowest lows and celebrate your highest highs together – as a team!
My areas of specialization are trauma, including church trauma, grief and bereavement, crisis counseling, and military counseling. I am a Certified Trauma Professional and I am currently completing my Grief Counseling certification. I served honorably in the Army for over 20 years and prior to that, I was a military spouse. I am also an Air Force Mom. I understand and appreciate the unique challenges and sacrifices faced by our brave men and women, our proud Veterans, and their loyal and dedicated family members.
I currently reside in Florida with my loving husband, our wonderful children, and our two dogs. I am originally from Florida, but I have lived and traveled to various places overseas and in the United States. I have lots of life experience, counseling knowledge, and good old-fashioned common sense to share with my clients. I am a life-long learner and I strive each day to create a caring, nonjudgmental, and culturally sound counseling experience for my clients.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed.”
Psalm 34:18 (New Living Translation)
