Our mental and spiritual health are such important factors in fulfilling the purpose our Lord has called us to. Whether its parenthood, ministry, a career, or a different mission, life can be challenging and complex. Oftentimes stigma can make us feel alone in our struggles and prevent us from reaching out for the help we need to get through trauma, anxiety, depression, or conflict. I am here to tell you that you are not alone, and to commend you in your bravery and vulnerability in taking the first step towards healing. My passion is walking alongside others in the darkness they are experiencing and helping them build the skills and access the tools they need to move towards a life full of light. I firmly believe that empathy is at the core of healing, and that everyone has the right to feel cared for, understood, and valued. It is my goal to provide my clients with the clinical tools, evidence-based practices, and biblical enouragment they need to thrive and live their lives to their fullest potential in Him.
I received my Master’s of Social Work from the University of Southern California. I have a passion for working with individuals who are experiencing depression and anxiety, in addition to postpartum depression and anxiety. I know the journey toward parenthood is beautiful but not always easy, and I love helping women walk through those challenges. I also have experience in working with Active Duty Military, Veterans, and Service Member Families, and I have a deep understanding of the unique challenges that face this population as a military spouse myself.
I believe that you are worthy and valuable. I know it takes bravery to begin this process and I believe your journey is precious. It would be an absolute honor and joy to work alongside you in your healing.
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10
