After submitting an application package that includes transcripts, references, and video responses to a structured interview, qualified candidates are invited into a multi-stage interview process. During the process candidates will meet with clinical supervisors, perform a mock therapy session, and participate in a training with the MyCounselor.Online clinical team. If advanced from the final interview with the Director of Clinical Services, candidates are offered a position on the clinical team and matriculated into the MyCounselor.Online residency.
During residency counselors complete multiple rotations of clinical training and experience with specific populations, including individuals, couples, families, and teens. Specifically, residents are trained in the MyCounselor.Online proprietary model of care: Neuroscience Informed Christian Counseling® (NICC) as applied in practice with various presenting issues.

A Note from Britni
Hey there! I’m so excited to walk alongside you in your journey to healing. You are taking such a courageous step by pursuing therapy and it is my prayer that you would feel loved, safe, and cared for as you process through emotional difficulties and trials. It’s my greatest passion to empower, equip, and give you the tools to navigate the valleys of life, while growing closer to our Savior in the process. My areas of focus include walking individuals through depression, anxiety, complex trauma and helping couples find connection through communication, sex therapy, and affair recovery.
I received my Bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of Arkansas in 2016 with a minor in Human Development & Family Services and a Master’s in Social Work from Baylor University in 2017, with a focus in Clinical Mental Health for children and families. I am trained as a Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional (CATP) and have 6.5 years of ministry experience. My most recent training and passion has been in Emotion-Focused Therapy which is an emotionally focused neuroscience-driven approach to couples counseling.
There is something deeply spiritual and restorative for me spending time outdoors and its my favorite place to be. When I’m not counseling, you will typically find me gardening, spending time with my baby boy, writing, or reading a good book. My husband and I absolutely love hosting people in our home and sharing a meal with family and friends.
We enjoy meeting with Britni every single time. She listens intently and understands exactly what we’re discussing. She helps us feel validated while allowing us to explore our emotions and feelings.Chelsea C.
